Summary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone tells the story of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, who are all students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After a mysterious presence begins attacking students, the three friends investigate and decipher clues that lead to the dark wizard Lord Voldemort. With the help of other Hogwarts faculty and students, Harry attempts to stop Voldemort and his scheme to steal the fabled Philosopher's Stone.
