Hagrid is arrested for the attacks in the school from "summary" of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling
Hagrid was taken away by the Ministry of Magic. Harry and Ron were shocked. Professor McGonagall explained that Hagrid was suspected of being behind the attacks. The students couldn't believe it. Hagrid wouldn't harm anyone, they thought. But the evidence seemed to point to him. Harry and Ron were determined to prove Hagrid's innocence. They visited him in his hut. Hagrid was devastated. He insisted he was not responsible for the attacks. He told them about a mysterious creature that had lived in the school long ago. Harry and Ron were intrigued. They decided to investigate. They found a piece of paper in a book with information about the creature. It was called a basilisk. It could kill with a single glance. They realized that the monster was the one responsible for the attacks, not Hagrid. Harry and Ron went to tell Hermione about their discovery. She had been petrified by the basilisk. They needed her help to brew a potion to save the other victims. They sneaked into the forbidden chamber where the basilisk lived. They found Ginny Weasley lying on the floor. Tom Riddle, who turned out to be Voldemort, appeared. He controlled the basilisk with a diary. Harry fought the monster with the help of Fawkes, Dumbledore's phoenix. They defeated the basilisk and destroyed the diary. Hagrid was released from Azkaban. The school was safe once again. Harry, Ron, and Hermione had saved the day. They had proven Hagrid's innocence and uncovered the true culprit behind the attacks. The Chamber of Secrets was closed for good.Similar Posts
