The judgments and opinions of others can weigh heavily on individuals, shaping their identities and influencing their decisions. Whether it's gossip at the local diner or whispers at Sunday service, the scrutiny of the community can be suffocating. Take the case of the Sinclair sisters, Abigail and Caroline. Growing up in our town, they were always the subject of speculation and gossip.
