Connecting with nature deepened my spiritual connection from "summary" of Finding God in the Waves by Mike McHargue

When I immerse myself in the natural world, I feel an overwhelming sense of awe and wonder. The beauty of a sunrise, the majesty of a mountain range, the serenity of a forest - all these elements of nature speak to my soul in a way that is hard to describe. In those moments, I feel a deep connection to something greater than myself. It's as if the universe itself is reaching out to me, inviting me to be a part of something grand and mysterious. Being in nature also helps me to quiet my mind and find a sense of peace. In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it can be easy to get caught up in the noise and distractions that surround us. But when I step outside and breathe in the fresh air, all those worries and stresses seem to fade away. I am reminded that there is a larger rhythm at play, one that is both comforting and reassuring. Nature also has a way of grounding me in the present moment.
