These are tasks that must be completed and have serious consequences if left undone. Next, “B” tasks are important but not as critical as “A” tasks. Completing these will provide value, but the repercussions of not doing them are less severe. “C” tasks are those that are nice to do but have little consequence on overall success. They may bring enjoyment or satisfaction, yet they do not contribute significantly to one’s goals. Moving to “D” tasks, these are delegated. Assign these to others who can handle them, freeing up time for more critical activities. Finally, “E” tasks are eliminated altogether. These are time-wasters or low-value activities that do not add to personal or professional growth. By applying this framework, clarity emerges in a chaotic workload. It helps identify what truly matters, ensuring that energy is focused on high-impact activities.
