Prophecy: A prophecy foretells a future of destruction from "summary" of Claimed by the Gods by Carly Fall

The prophecy whispered through the ages, a dark shadow looming over the world. It foretold a future filled with destruction and despair, a time when chaos would reign supreme. The words of the seers painted a grim picture of what was to come, sending shivers down the spines of those who dared to listen. As the prophecy spread, fear took hold, gripping the hearts of those who heard its ominous words. People whispered in hushed tones, questioning what could be done to avert the impending catastrophe. The weight of the prophecy hung heavy in the air, casting a pall over the land. Despite the efforts of the bravest warriors and the wisest sages, the prophecy seemed inevitable, its dark tendrils reaching out to touch every corner of the world. It was a force beyond reckoning, a fate that could not be denied. The very fabric of reality seemed to tremble at the thought of what was to come. And so, as the days passed and the shadows grew longer, the people waited with bated breath for the prophecy to come to fruition. They knew that their world would never be the same, that the future held only destruction and chaos. The time of reckoning was at hand, and none could escape its grasp. In the face of such overwhelming darkness, hope flickered like a dying flame. The people clung to it desperately, praying for some reprieve from the fate that awaited them. But deep down, they knew that the prophecy would be fulfilled, that destruction was inevitable. And so they steel themselves for the storm that was about to break, knowing that they would have to face it head-on, no matter the cost.
