Trust yourself and your decisions from "summary" of Calm the F*ck Down by Sarah Knight
When it comes to decision-making, there's only one person whose opinion truly matters: you. That's right, you are the expert on your own life. You know yourself better than anyone else, so why wouldn't you trust yourself to make the right decisions? Sure, it can be scary to take the reins and be the one calling the shots, but the truth is, nobody else is better equipped to make decisions for you than you are.
Think about it: who knows your hopes, dreams, fears, and goals better than you do? Who has a better understanding of what you want out of life and what you're willing to do to get it? Only you. So why second-guess yourself and your decisions? Trust that you know what's best for you, because you do.
Of course, that's not to say that seeking advice or input from others isn't valuable. It can be incredibly helpful to get an outside perspective on a situation or problem. But at the end of the day, the final call is yours to make. You have to trust that you have the wisdom, insight, and intuition to make the decision that's right for you.
Remember, nobody else has to live with the consequences of your decisions but you. So why not take ownership of your choices and trust that you have what it takes to navigate whatever comes your way? Trust in yourself and your decisions, and watch as your confidence and self-assurance grow. Trust that you know what's best for you, because you do.
