The Four Immeasurables are virtues that Buddhists strive to cultivate in their daily lives. These virtues are lovingkindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Lovingkindness involves caring for the well-being of others and wishing them happiness and freedom from suffering. Compassion goes a step further by actively seeking to alleviate the suffering of others and offering support and comfort.
