By establishing boundaries, we are able to protect ourselves from being taken advantage of or manipulated by others. We are able to set limits on what we are willing to tolerate and what we are not. This helps us to build healthier relationships based on mutual respect and understanding. Boundaries also help us to prioritize our own needs and well-being. They allow us to say no to things that are not in our best interest, and yes to things that bring us joy and fulfillment. By understanding where we end and others begin, we are able to create a healthy balance in our relationships and lives.
