Surrender to the divine will from "summary" of Bhagavad-Gita As It Is by A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

The Bhagavad-gita is a spiritual scripture that imparts timeless wisdom on how to live a fulfilling and purposeful life. One of the central teachings of the Bhagavad-gita is the concept of surrendering to the divine will. This idea of surrendering to a higher power is essential in the practice of bhakti yoga, the path of loving devotion to the Supreme. In the Bhagavad-gita, Lord Krishna instructs Arjuna to surrender to Him and follow His instructions without hesitation or doubt. By surrendering to the divine will, one acknowledges that there is a higher intelligence at work in the universe and that one's own desires and plans may not always align with the greater good. Surrendering to the divine will requires humility, faith, and trust in the wisdom of the Supreme. It means letting go of the ego and accepting that there are forces beyond our control that guide the course of our lives. By surrendering, one finds peace and contentment, knowing that everything happens according to a higher plan. When one surrenders to the divine will, one opens oneself up to divine guidance and protection. The Bhagavad-gita teaches that by surrendering to the will of the Supreme, one can transcend the limitations of the material world and experience a deeper connection with the spiritual realm.
  1. Surrendering to the divine will is an act of love and devotion. It is a way of showing our gratitude and reverence to the Supreme for all the blessings we have received. Through surrender, we surrender our own will and desires to the will of the Supreme, allowing ourselves to be guided by divine wisdom and love.
