The ultimate goal of life, according to the Bhagavad-gītā, is to attain pure love and devotion to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Krishna. This devotional service is the highest perfection of human life and the ultimate purpose of our existence. By engaging in loving service to the Supreme Lord, one can transcend the cycle of birth and death and attain liberation from the material world. This path of devotional service is described as the most direct and effective means of achieving spiritual realization and eternal happiness. The Bhagavad-gītā teaches that all living beings are eternal spiritual souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Lord. This realization brings about a profound transformation in our consciousness and frees us from the bondage of material existence. By surrendering to the will of the Supreme Lord and serving Him with love and devotion, we can attain the highest perfection of life and achieve everlasting happiness and peace. This is the ultimate goal of human life, as taught in the Bhagavad-gītā, and it is available to all who sincerely seek it.
