Focus on building strong relationships from "summary" of Becoming by Michelle Obama

One of the most important lessons I've learned in my life is the value of building strong relationships. It's not just about having a wide network of acquaintances or contacts, but about cultivating deep and meaningful connections with those around you. These relationships are the foundation upon which we build our lives, providing us with support, love, and a sense of belonging. When we focus on building strong relationships, we are investing in our own well-being and happiness. Research has shown that people with strong social connections are happier, healthier, and live longer lives. By nurturing these connections, we are able to create a sense of community and belonging that enriches our lives in countless ways. But building strong relationships is not always easy. It is in the moments of connection, of empathy, and of love that we truly leave a lasting impact on those around us. So let us all strive to focus on building strong relationships, for in doing so, we are investing in the most valuable currency of all - the love and support of those we hold dear.
