The animals of Manor Farm had been oppressed for years under the rule of Mr. Jones, their human master. When they finally rise up against him and establish their own government, led by the pigs, they are filled with hope for a better future. However, as time passes, it becomes clear that the pigs, particularly Napoleon, are becoming more and more corrupt.
