Animals live in misery from "summary" of Animal Farm by George Orwell
The animals on Manor Farm were oppressed and mistreated by the humans who ruled over them. They were forced to work long hours for little food, living in squalid conditions with no respite from their toil. The pigs, who were meant to lead and protect the other animals, instead exploited them for their own gain, taking more than their fair share of the resources and making the others work even harder to make up for it.
As time went on, the animals began to realize the extent of their suffering and the injustice of their situation. They saw how the pigs lived in luxury while they struggled to survive, how their efforts were never enough to satisfy the greed of those in power. Despite their best efforts, they were always left wanting, always struggling to make ends meet while the pigs grew fat and complacent.
The animals were filled with a sense of hopelessness and despair, as they saw no way out of their misery. They were trapped in a system that was designed to keep them down, to exploit them for the benefit of a few at the top. They had no voice, no power to change their circumstances, and they could only watch as their lives grew more difficult with each passing day.
In the end, the animals were left with nothing but their misery, their suffering a constant reminder of the injustice that ruled over them. They had been promised a better life, a life of freedom and equality, but instead they found themselves trapped in a cycle of oppression and exploitation. And as they looked around at the world they had created, they could see no way to escape the misery that surrounded them.
