The animals knew that something must be done, for they could no longer tolerate the oppressive rule of the humans. They were fed up with being overworked and underfed, with no say in their own lives. And so, they came together to form their own government, a government of the animals, by the animals, and for the animals. At first, it seemed like a dream come true. The animals were finally in control of their own destinies. They could make decisions for themselves, without the interference of the humans. They established a set of commandments to guide their new society, promising equality and fairness for all. But as time went on, cracks began to appear in their once-united front.
