Pay attention to the signs from "summary" of Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Santiago had always believed in the importance of paying attention to the signs. As a young shepherd, he had learned to listen to the language of the world, to read the omens that pointed him in the right direction. The signs were everywhere, if one only knew how to look for them. When he met the old king Melchizedek, Santiago was reminded once again of the power of the signs. Melchizedek told him that the universe conspired to help those who followed their dreams, and that the signs were there to guide them on their journey. Santiago knew that he must be attentive to these signs if he was to fulfill his Personal Legend. Throughout his travels, Santiago encountered many signs – a recurring dream of a treasure in Egypt, a king who spoke of a hidden treasure, a mysterious alchemist who taught him the secrets of the universe. Each of these signs pointed him in the direction of his treasure, urging him to continue on his path despite the challenges he faced. Despite his belief in the signs, Santiago still had moments of doubt. He questioned whether he was truly on the right path, whether he was truly following his Personal Legend. But each time he wavered, a new sign would appear, reaffirming his faith and guiding him forward. In the end, Santiago realized that the signs were not just external omens, but reflections of his own inner desires and dreams. By paying attention to the signs, he was able to connect with his true self and find the treasure that had been waiting for him all along. The signs were not just guides, but guardians, leading him to his destiny. And so Santiago learned that the universe was always speaking to him, if only he would listen. The signs were there to show him the way, to illuminate the path to his dreams. All he had to do was pay attention, and trust in the wisdom of the signs. And in doing so, Santiago found not just his treasure, but his true purpose in life.
