Venus intervenes in the battle from "summary" of Aeneid by Virgil,Frederick Ahl

In the midst of the fierce battle, as Aeneas fought bravely against Turnus and his men, Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, looked down upon her son with a heavy heart. She could not bear to see him in such danger, risking his life on the battlefield. Filled with worry and concern, Venus decided to intervene in the battle, using her divine powers to protect and aid Aeneas in his time of need. As she descended from the heavens, a radiant light surrounded her, causing the warriors on both sides to pause in awe and wonder at her presence. With a determined gaze, Venus spoke to her son, urging him to have courage and reminding him of his destiny as a great hero and the future founder of Rome. She then turned her attention to the battlefield, where she unleashed her powers to confuse and scatter the enemy forces, giving Aeneas and his men the upper hand in the conflict. Under Venus's protection, Aeneas fought with renewed strength and determination, inspired by his mother's love and the knowledge that she was watching over him. With her divine intervention, the tide of the battle began to turn in favor of the Trojans, as they pushed back the enemy forces and gained the advantage. As the battle raged on, Venus continued to watch over her son, guiding and protecting him from harm, until finally, victory was achieved and the enemy forces were defeated. With her intervention, Venus had ensured the safety and success of Aeneas, fulfilling her role as his loving and devoted mother.
