When Aeneas and his crew landed on the island of Sicily, they encountered the one-eyed giant, the Cyclops, Polyphemus. The Cyclops immediately displayed his violent nature by throwing boulders at the ships, causing chaos and destruction. Aeneas and his men quickly realized the danger they were in and prepared for battle.
Polyphemus, with his immense strength and size, seemed like an unbeatable foe. However, Aeneas, guided by his courage and leadership, devised a plan to outsmart the Cyclops. He ordered his men to gather huge logs and sharpen them into stakes, which they then used to blind Polyphemus while he was sleeping.
