The society is based on oppression and inequality from "summary" of 1984, Animal Farm (Set of 2 Books) by Orwell George

In the dystopian world depicted in these pages, oppression and inequality are not just incidental features of society, but its very foundation. The ruling class maintains its power through the systematic suppression of individual freedoms and the imposition of strict hierarchies that benefit only a select few. Those at the top wield absolute control over the lives of those below them, dictating everything from their thoughts to their actions. The Party in '1984' exercises its authority through surveillance, propaganda, and fear, effectively erasing any notion of personal autonomy. The citizens are stripped of their humanity, reduced to mere cogs in the machine of the state. This relentless manipulation serves to maintain the status quo, ensuring that power remains concentrated in the hands of the privileged few. Similarly, in 'Animal Farm', the pigs exploit the other animals for their own gain, creating a society in which some are more equal than others. The principles of equality and solidarity are perverted to serve the pigs' own interests, leading to a system in which the majority toil for the benefit of a greedy and corrupt elite. Both works highlight the insidious nature of oppression and inequality, showing how they can become ingrained in the fabric of society, perpetuating themselves through systems of control and manipulation. The consequences are devastating, as individuals are dehumanized, their spirits crushed under the weight of a system designed to benefit a select few at the expense of the many.
  1. These books serve as stark warnings about the dangers of unchecked power and the corrosive effects of inequality. They remind us that a society built on oppression is inherently unstable, doomed to collapse under the weight of its own injustices. Only by recognizing the insidious nature of these forces can we hope to challenge them and build a more just and equitable world for all.
