Do not transform your wife into a maid from "summary" of 12 Rules for Life by Jordan B. Peterson

Marriage is a partnership, a sacred union between two individuals who have chosen to walk the path of life together. It is a relationship built on love, respect, and mutual support. When one partner starts to treat the other like a servant, like a maid whose sole purpose is to cater to their every need, the foundation of the marriage begins to crumble. A wife is not meant to be a maid; she is not there to serve her husband hand and foot, to clean up after him, to cook his meals, and to tend to his every whim. She is a human being with her own thoughts, feelings, and desires. She deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, just as her husband does. When a husband starts to see his wife as nothing more than a maid, he diminishes her worth as a person. He fails to recognize her contributions to the marriage, her intelligence, her talents, and her strengths. He reduces her to a mere servant, someone who exists solely to fulfill his needs. This kind of behavior is not only disrespectful, but it is also damaging to the marriage itself. When one partner feels unappreciated and taken for granted, resentment can build up over time. Communication breaks down, trust is eroded, and the bond between husband and wife weakens. In order for a marriage to thrive, both partners must be willing to put in the effort to support each other, to show appreciation for each other's contributions, and to treat each other with kindness and respect. A husband should never see his wife as a maid, but as an equal partner in the journey of life. Only then can true love and harmony flourish in their relationship.
