Zero struggles to find his place from "summary" of Zero the Hero by Joan Holub

Zero had always felt a little out of place among the other numbers. He didn't quite fit in with the even numbers, and he definitely didn't belong with the odd numbers. This sense of not belonging made Zero feel lost and unsure of himself. He wondered where he truly fit in the world of numbers. Every day, Zero watched as the other numbers went about their business, easily adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing. They seemed to know exactly what they were meant to do, while Zero struggled to find his purpose. He longed to be like the other numbers, to have a clear role and a sense of belonging.
