Accept that not everyone will like you and that's okay from "summary" of You Do You by Sarah Knight

We all want to be liked. It's human nature. But here's the thing: not everyone is going to like you. And that's okay. It's impossible to please everyone, no matter how hard you try. So why bother? Instead of wasting your time and energy trying to win over every single person you meet, focus on being true to yourself. Be authentic. Be genuine. Be you. When you accept that not everyone will like you, you'll feel a sense of freedom. You'll no longer feel the need to constantly seek approval from others. You'll be able to let go of the need to be liked by everyone, and instead focus on being liked by the people who truly matter - the ones who appreciate you for who you are. And let's face it, those are the only opinions that really count. It's important to remember that not everyone's opinion of you is a reflection of who you are as a person. People's perceptions are shaped by their own experiences, beliefs, and biases. So if someone doesn't like you, it says more about them than it does about you. Don't take it personally. Just keep being your fabulous self and let the haters hate. It's their loss, not yours. By accepting that not everyone will like you, you'll be able to focus on what truly matters - your own happiness and well-being. You'll be able to let go of the need for external validation and instead find validation from within. You'll be able to live your life on your own terms, unapologetically and authentically. And you know what? The people who truly matter will love you for it. So go ahead, be yourself. You do you.
