Grief is not a place you arrive at and then leave, like a train station. It doesn't have a timetable or a schedule. It doesn't have a clear destination or a set path. It's more like a winding road that stretches out endlessly in front of you, disappearing around corners and over hills. You can't see where it ends, and you can't turn back. You just have to keep moving forward, putting one foot in front of the other, even when the path feels like it's leading you nowhere.
