The idea is simple: when you sit down to write, don't worry about whether your words are good or bad. Just write. This might seem counterintuitive - after all, don't we want our writing to be the best it can be? But the truth is, worrying too much about writing well can actually hinder the writing process. When we are constantly concerned with perfection, we are less likely to take risks, to experiment, to let our ideas flow freely. By giving yourself permission to write badly, you are freeing yourself from the constraints of perfection. This doesn't mean that you should purposefully write poorly - rather, it means that you should allow yourself to write without judgment. Trust that you can always revise and edit later. The important thing is to get your ideas down on paper.
