It's letting someone see all your soft, squishy parts that you usually keep hidden behind a carefully constructed facade of jokes and sarcasm. When you allow yourself to be vulnerable, you give others the opportunity to truly connect with you on a deeper level. It's like saying, "Here I am, flaws and all. Take me or leave me."
