They have championed initiatives that claim to address social issues while conveniently ignoring the structural injustices that they themselves benefit from. This approach allows them to feel good about themselves without truly challenging the systems that uphold their privilege. It is time for the elite to confront the uncomfortable truth that their actions have consequences. Their decisions have real-world impacts on the lives of millions of people who are left behind by our winner-takes-all economy.
