The erosion of our privacy is a slow and insidious process, one that often goes unnoticed until it is too late. We go about our daily lives, unaware of the countless ways in which our personal information is being collected, analyzed, and exploited by corporations and governments alike. From the moment we wake up and check our phones to the time we go to bed and turn off our smart devices, we are constantly under surveillance. Our every move is tracked and recorded, our every online search scrutinized, our every purchase monitored. We are bombarded with targeted ads and personalized recommendations, all designed to manipulate our behavior and influence our choices. Our thoughts and opinions are algorithmically analyzed and categorized, our social media activity scrutinized for signs of dissent or nonconformity.
