When we can begin to see thoughts and feelings as impermanent, we start to loosen their grip on us. Instead of getting caught up in them, we can observe them come and go like passing clouds in the sky. This shift in perspective allows us to create space between ourselves and our thoughts and feelings, giving us the freedom to choose how to respond to them. By accepting the impermanence of our thoughts and feelings, we can avoid getting stuck in cycles of rumination and worry. We can recognize that just because we have a thought or feeling doesn't mean it is true or needs to dictate our actions.
