We have the means to shift to renewable sources of energy, to improve energy efficiency, and to protect and restore natural ecosystems. But we need to act quickly and decisively. We need to make the necessary changes at the individual, national, and global levels. We need to prioritize the long-term health of our planet over short-term economic interests. We need to work together, across borders and ideologies, to ensure a livable future for ourselves and for generations to come. The time to act is now.
