Miles begins to open up to Tate from "summary" of Ugly Love - Wajah Buruk Cinta by Colleen Hoover
As Tate and I spend more time together, I find myself gradually letting down the walls I've built around me. The vulnerability I feel scares me, but there's something about her that makes me want to share my deepest thoughts and emotions. I start to open up about my past, revealing the pain and heartache that have shaped me into the person I am today.
Tate listens without judgment, her presence comforting and reassuring. It's as if she sees through the tough exterior I've cultivated and understands the brokenness that lies beneath. With her, I feel safe enough to lower my defenses and show her the parts of myself that I've kept hidden for so long.
As I begin to share more of myself with Tate, I notice a shift in our relationship. There's a newfound intimacy between us, a connection that goes beyond physical attraction. I find myself wanting to confide in her, to seek solace in her understanding gaze. It's a strange feeling, but one that I can't deny or ignore.
Despite my fear of getting hurt again, I can't help but open up to Tate. She has a way of making me feel seen and heard in a way that no one ever has before. With her, I feel like I can truly be myself, flaws and all. And as I reveal more of myself to her, I realize that maybe, just maybe, love doesn't have to be ugly after all.
