In our quest to become authentic leaders, we must be steadfast in upholding our core values, even in the face of external pressures. These values serve as our moral compass, guiding our decisions and actions in alignment with our true selves. When we allow external pressures to sway us from our values, we jeopardize our authenticity and credibility as leaders. It is easy to fall into the trap of conforming to societal norms or the expectations of others. However, true leadership requires the courage to stay true to ourselves and our values, even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular. External pressures may tempt us to compromise our values for short-term gains, but the long-term consequences of such actions can be damaging to both ourselves and those we lead.
