Listening without interruptions allows for a deeper connection from "summary" of The Wisdom of Listening by Mark Brady

When we truly listen to another person without interruptions, we create a space in which a deeper connection can form. This is because when we interrupt someone while they are speaking, we disrupt the flow of their thoughts and feelings. Instead of allowing them to fully express themselves, we impose our own thoughts and ideas onto the conversation. This can prevent the speaker from feeling understood and valued, as they may feel like their words are being dismissed or ignored. By listening without interruptions, we show the speaker that we respect and value their perspective.
