Werewolf is defeated from "summary" of The Werewolf of Fever Swamp by R. L. Stine
The werewolf stood before Grady, its eyes glowing red in the darkness. Its fangs dripped with saliva as it snarled, ready to attack. Grady's heart pounded in his chest as he tried to think of a way to defeat the creature. Suddenly, Grady remembered the legend of the silver bullet. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the small, silver object. With a shaky hand, he aimed at the werewolf and fired. The bullet struck the creature right in the heart, causing it to let out a blood-curdling howl. As the werewolf fell to the ground, Grady felt a sense of relief wash over him. The creature's body began to convulse and contort, slowly transforming back into its human form. Grady approached cautiously, still unsure if the danger was truly over. To his surprise, lying on the ground before him was Will Blake, the neighbor who had gone missing. Will looked up at Grady with a mixture of fear and confusion in his eyes. Grady realized then that the werewolf of Fever Swamp had been defeated, and Will was finally free from the curse that had plagued him. As the sun rose over the swamp, Grady helped Will to his feet and they made their way back to civilization. The townspeople could hardly believe their eyes when they saw Will alive and well. Grady knew then that he had truly saved the day, and he would forever be known as the boy who defeated the werewolf of Fever Swamp.Similar Posts
