The eerie silence of the swamp seemed to suffocate Will. The dense trees loomed over him like menacing giants, blocking out the sunlight and casting dark shadows on the murky water below. The stagnant air hung heavy with the scent of decay, making it difficult for him to breathe. Will tried to move, but his feet were stuck in the muck, as if the swamp itself was holding him captive.
