The group fights a fierce battle against the enemy from "summary" of The Trials of Apollo, Book One: The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan

The battle was fierce. The enemy came at us with a ferocity that left no doubt in my mind: they wanted us dead. Their weapons glinted in the sunlight as they charged, screaming war cries that chilled me to the bone. We stood our ground, our weapons raised in defiance. We knew that we had to fight, that there was no other way out of this. The fate of the world rested on our shoulders, and we could not afford to fail. The clash of steel on steel rang out as the battle raged on. I could feel the heat of the fight all around me, the sweat pouring down my face as I fought with all my might. We were outnumbered, but we were not outmatched. We had each other, and that was enough. As the enemy pressed in on all sides, we fought back with everything we had. We moved as one, a well-oiled machine of destruction that cut through the enemy ranks like a knife through butter. Our determination was unwavering, our resolve unbreakable. In the end, victory was ours. The enemy lay defeated at our feet, their weapons scattered and broken. We stood victorious, our chests heaving with exertion but our spirits soaring high. We had won the day, and the world was safe once more.
