A quick summary

The String of Pearls is a classic horror story by Thomas Prest, originally published in 1845. It follows the story of Sweeney Todd, a barber who lures unsuspecting victims into his barber chair with promises of a cheap shave, only to slit their throats and rob them of their belongings. Todd then uses his accomplice, the infamous Mrs. Lovett, to dispose of the bodies by baking them into pies and selling them to unsuspecting customers. As Todd's body count rises, an unlikely hero, a sailor by the name of Tobias Ragg, is determined to put a stop to Todd's reign of terror. With the help of a mysterious string of pearls, Tobias is able to trace Todd's victims and eventually bring him to justice.
