Gratitude and humility are essential elements in our Salah. When we stand before Allah, we must do so with a heart full of gratitude for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. This feeling of gratitude should be reflected in our every movement during Salah, from the opening Takbir to the final Tasleem. We must remember that every breath we take, every morsel of food we eat, every blessing we enjoy is a gift from Allah. Humility is key to truly connecting with Allah during Salah. We must lower ourselves in front of Him, acknowledging our own insignificance and His greatness. This humility should be manifested in our physical posture as well as in our inner state.
