The Decline of the Compson Family

1. The Compson family was once a proud and wealthy family, but their fortunes have unraveled in recent years. 2. The youngest of the Compson children, Benjy, is mentally impaired and requires round-the-clock care. 3. The eldest son, Quentin, is deeply troubled by the decline of the family and struggles to make sense of it all. 4. The middle child, Jason, is a selfish and greedy man who is only concerned with himself. 5. The only female child, Caddy, is the wildest of the siblings and seems to have given up on the family. 6. The Compson parents, Mr. and Mrs. Compson, are no longer able to provide strong guidance or support for their children. 7. The family's downfall has taken a toll on all of them, leaving them struggling to make sense of their lives and to find purpose in a world that has rejected them.
