The state of public services in the industrial towns of the North is nothing short of scandalous. The lack of proper sanitation facilities, the overcrowded and dilapidated housing, the inadequate healthcare services - all these point to a system that is failing its citizens. The people living in these areas are constantly exposed to unsanitary conditions, which is a breeding ground for disease and ill health. Without access to clean water, proper sewage systems, and adequate healthcare, it is no wonder that the residents of these towns suffer from high rates of sickness and mortality. The government seems to have turned a blind eye to the plight of these communities, leaving them to fend for themselves in the face of such dire circumstances. The meagre efforts made by local authorities to improve the situation are simply not enough to address the widespread deficiencies in public services.
