In a collectivist society, individuals are encouraged to rely on the state for their well-being rather than taking responsibility for their own lives. They become dependent on government handouts and regulations, relinquishing their autonomy and agency in the process. This breeds a culture of entitlement and victimhood, where individuals expect the state to solve all their problems and absolve them of any consequences for their actions.
