When we speak of integrity, we are talking about more than just honesty or moral uprightness. Integrity is about living a life that is congruent with one's deepest values and beliefs, even when faced with temptation or adversity. It is about being true to oneself and to others, even when doing so may be difficult or unpopular. In essence, integrity is about being whole and undivided, with no gaps between what we say and what we do. Without integrity, all other virtues ring hollow. A person may be intelligent, skilled, or charismatic, but if they lack integrity, their character is fundamentally flawed.
