In the eyes of justice, all are equal. It matters not whether one is rich or poor, noble or common, for the scales of justice do not tip in favor of social status. The law is blind to such distinctions, as it should be, in order to ensure fairness and impartiality for all. When a person stands before the court, their wealth or rank should hold no sway over the judgment that is rendered. Justice must be based on the merits of the case and the evidence presented, not on the individual's standing in society.
