In the teeming streets of Saigon, one cannot help but notice the cyclical nature of human behavior. The same patterns of deceit, violence, and betrayal that have plagued this city for centuries continue to unfold before our very eyes. It is as if the ghosts of the past are reaching out to remind us that history has a way of repeating itself, no matter how much we try to resist its pull. As an outsider looking in, I cannot help but feel a sense of déjà vu as I witness the same mistakes being made over and over again.
