The Theory of Induction is concerned with the justification of beliefs about the future or the unobserved based on past experience. According to this theory, we believe that events will occur in the future because similar events have occurred in the past. For example, if we have always seen the sun rise in the morning, we expect it to rise again tomorrow. This principle seems simple and obvious, but upon closer examination, it raises some important questions.
