When we let go of perfectionism, we allow ourselves to be truly known and loved for who we are. In letting go of perfectionism, we free ourselves from the burden of constantly trying to live up to impossible standards. We give ourselves permission to be imperfect and to make mistakes. We learn that vulnerability is not something to be feared, but something to be embraced. It is through vulnerability that we find true connection and belonging.
