Women should pray with a grateful heart from "summary" of The Power of a Praying Woman by Stormie Omartian

When we pray with a grateful heart, we are acknowledging God's goodness and faithfulness in our lives. Gratitude opens the door to deeper intimacy with God and allows us to see His hand at work in every aspect of our lives. It shifts our focus from our problems to His provisions, from our worries to His wisdom, from our doubts to His promises. Gratitude is a powerful weapon against the enemy's schemes to steal our joy and peace. When we choose to thank God for all He has done and continues to do for us, we are declaring our trust in His sovereignty and love. We are showing Him that we believe He is in control and that He has a plan for our lives, even when we can't see it. Praying with a grateful heart also helps us cultivate a spirit of contentment and humility. It reminds us that everything we have is a gift from God and that we are called to be good stewards of His blessings. It encourages us to share our abundance with others and to be a light in a world that desperately needs hope and love. When we approach God with a heart full of gratitude, we are inviting Him to work in and through us in ways we never thought possible. We are surrendering our will to His and allowing His perfect will to be done in our lives. We are aligning our desires with His and trusting Him to lead us on the path He has set before us. So let us come before the Lord with thanksgiving and praise, knowing that He hears our prayers and delights in our worship. Let us pour out our hearts to Him with confidence and assurance, knowing that He is faithful to answer and to provide for our every need. Let us be women who pray with a grateful heart, knowing that our prayers have the power to move mountains and to change lives.
