It is not just a religious duty or a spiritual discipline, but a powerful means of deepening our relationship with God and strengthening our faith in Him. When we pray, we are declaring our belief in His goodness, our reliance on His help, and our confidence in His faithfulness. And in doing so, we are opening ourselves up to receive all the blessings that come from knowing and trusting in the goodness of our God.
