The sea was angry that day, my friends. Not that it was ever a friendly body of water to begin with. No, this was the Sea of Monsters, and it lived up to its name with every crashing wave and swirling eddy. The group found themselves in the middle of it, their small boat bobbing up and down as if at the mercy of some unseen beast. Percy gripped the oar tighter, his eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of danger. Charybdis, the monstrous whirlpool, loomed in the distance, its gaping maw ready to swallow anything foolish enough to come too close. On the other side, Scylla awaited, her many heads snapping at the air in anticipation of a tasty meal. It was a treacherous path to navigate, but they had no choice but to press on. The fate of Olympus depended on them reaching their destination.
