Throughout the epic poem "The Odyssey," the eternal struggle between good and evil is a recurring theme that drives the narrative forward. The protagonist, Odysseus, is constantly faced with challenges and obstacles that test his character and morals. On one hand, he showcases qualities of bravery, cunning, and intelligence that are admirable and virtuous. These traits help him overcome numerous dangers and adversaries on his journey back home to Ithaca.
