Individuals have the power to create change from "summary" of The New Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins
Throughout these confessions, it becomes abundantly clear that people, individuals like you and me, possess a tremendous amount of power. But we must remember that change begins with us, with our individual choices and actions. Whether it is through voting, activism, or simply living our lives in alignment with our values, we have the power to shape the world around us. We must also recognize the power of collective action. When individuals come together, united by a common cause, they can move mountains. History is full of examples of ordinary people coming together to effect extraordinary change. It is a reminder that we are not alone in this struggle, that there is strength in numbers. So let us not underestimate the power that each of us holds within us. Let us embrace our ability to create change, to make a difference in the world. It is only through recognizing and exercising this power that we can truly build a better future for all.
